Overview

Learn how to give yourself a gua sha facial massage to contour and smooth the skin. Great for circulation, lymphatic drainage and skin brightening.

Content
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese technique to promote circulation, relax muscle tension, support lymphatic elimination and the skin’s regenerating processes.

It involves the gentle sweeping and pressing of the stone against the skin on the face neck and upper chest to stimulate the circulation in the layers of skin and soft tissue.

Incorporating Gua Sha facial massage into your skincare routine at home can offer both beauty and therapeutic benefits.

The workshops includes:

Looking after your gua sha stone

How to use the stone against your face

Select product to use with the stone

Learn a routine including:

•   warm up

•   definition

•   lifting

•   lymphatic drainage

•   targeted routines for lips, cheeks, eyes, forehead

•   stimulating acupressure points

•   cool down

Bring

Please bring your gua sha stone if you have one, or you can select one to buy on the day - the stones are £20 each.

Facial oils and the full range of Silvan Skincare products are available to sample and purchase if you wish on the day.

Payment

Cost is £25 for session and payment is taken on booking. One week’s notice is required for refunds or course transfer.

During Silvan Skincare workshops, you will practice and learn routines that you can use at home as part of your self care and skincare routines. You will receive a complementary workbook so that you can remember the sequences. You will also have an opportunity to sample and use Silvan Skincare products.
